The Costa Daurada have a very rich culinary culture, based in the main products they have. Some of these quality products are the Reus hazelnuts, the Siurana olive oil, the Valls “calçots”, the Prades potatoes, or the wines and caves with origin denomination of Priorat, Montsant, Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Tarragona and Cava. With this products are elaborated receipts as typical as the “xató”, the “civet de senglar”, “calçotada”, “rossejat de fideus”, or “menjar blanc”, that at the same time promote popular and gastonomical festivities in the villages of the region.
