Montsant Natural Park

Montsant Natural Park is located in the Priorat region, in the center of the Costa Dorada, about 40 minutes from Salou. It is a unique mountainous complex and a protected area of great natural and landscape interest since, currently, it still preserves a great native fauna and flora of the richest in Catalonia.

The Montsant mountain range offers views of impressive rocky walls and the Montsant River, on the other hand, offers one of the most spectacular places in the place: the majestic Fraguerau gorge.

This Natural Park, in addition to offering beautiful natural landscapes, also gives a rich religious heritage, since you can find hermitages scattered throughout the area, such as: Sant Bartomeu, Sant Antoni and Santa Magdalena, Sant Joan del Codolar, Mare de Déu de Montsant, Sant Salvador, Sant Roc and Mare de Déu de la Foia.

In addition to the natural, landscape and architectural heritage, the Montsant mountain range is an ideal place for active tourism, as activities such as hiking, mountain biking and climbing can be practiced.
