Salou, capital of the Costa Dorada, has certificates as a Family Tourism Destination and ISO 14001 environmental, has nine beaches: Cala Crancs, Cala Vinya, Cala Penya Tallada, Platja Llarga, Cala Llenguadets, Platja Capellans, Platja de Llevant and Platja de Ponent.
